White Light Exposure was founded in 2013. Since then, the company has morphed and molded but the primary business principle has stayed true: we aim to expose you, your brand or band in the best light.

"My fascination for photography started with a macro lens and colorful food when my high school sweetheart gifted me my first camera. It wasn't long before I started shooting for the school yearbook, and then professionally in 2012. I landed my first photo job in New Zealand at a family portrait studio, and transitioned to photographing weddings when I returned to Austin in 2013. I graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in 2014.
My photography has appeared locally, nationally and internationally in various publications such as: Food & Wine magazine, The Austin Chronicle, Good Magazine (New Zealand), Austin Monthly, and more. In 2017 White Light Exposure was invited to Angers, France as an official artist to be recognized and artwork showcased.
I use my degree and love for all people and cultures to facilitate the projects I shoot. Whether it is by photographing love at weddings, truth in artists, personality in musicians, or the faces of movers and shakers in our community, I cultivate images that spread positive encouragement.
When I'm not running to and from a photo shoot or designing a book, I love live music, a good yoga class, or running at Town Lake." -Letitia Smith, Founder
"The coolest photos from a sharp, creative eye. Beauty, art, angle, Venusian vibes."
"We hired White Light Exposure to photograph our wedding on 4/5/14. Letitia and her business partner, Deleigh, were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. Communication was easy; they understood our unconventional approach and made artistic choices accordingly. During the ceremony and celebrations, they were present, quick-paced, non-intrusive, and worked great with all our vendors. I don't think they missed anything, and the turnaround for viewing the edited photos was extremely swift. On top of that, they have awesome personalities and are a joy to be around period. Prior to the wedding, Letitia also did our engagement photos as a package deal! I cried when I saw them. What a beautiful way to remember this time for years to come."
"Do you ever look back at photos and think "These are so great and they capture the day so well, I just want to go hug my photographer"? Well, I get that feeling about Letitia at least once a week. White Light Exposure is the best!"
